Industry access: Go behind the scenes at BLOXHUB, the Nordic Hub for sustainable urbanization, and State of Green for expert-led presentations on the Danish approach to sustainability.
Site visits: Enjoy exclusive visits to some of the coolest infrastructure projects including: Faelledby, the city's first timber neighborhood, Copenhill waste-to-energy facility and recreation center, Tscherning House, and more.
Cross-border innovation: Cross the bridge for a day in Malmö, Sweden, to study smart energy grids, visit the Varvsstaden material bank, and learn about deconstruction.
Neighborhood tours: Learn the secrets of Copenhagen's growth on walking tours of Nordhavn, Orestad, and Carlsberg and see examples of reuse in the built environment and flood adaptation infrastructure.
World Capital of Architecture by bike: Experience Copenhagen like a local with a half-day, 4-hour guided bicycle tour exploring the city's most iconic southern architectural landmarks and bicycle-only infrastructure like The Snake & The Wave.

Our Sustainability Delegations offer an opportunity for sustainability professionals and students to participate in immersive experiences across Europe that are focused on shaping greener, more sustainable urban environments.
A collaborative effort between Circular San Antonio, ReMat Enterprises, and local partners at each destination, these 1-week trips offer participants a unique opportunity to explore world-renowned circular economy efforts in European cities known for their climate commitments.

Imagine a week dedicated to exploring circular and urban sustainability initiatives first-hand while developing relationships with peers across the United States that represent geographic, cultural, and professional diversity. Our curated tours allow participants to engage with their counterparts in Europe, establishing transatlantic connections and relationships that can support collaborative efforts on both sides of the Atlantic.
🏙️ What to Expect?
Guided walking and bicycling tours, expert-led presentations, collaborative workshops, and insightful networking opportunities. Engage with local experts, visit iconic sustainable landmarks, and savor locally-sourced cuisines.
Trip fare is inclusive of seven nights of accommodations, train tickets and public transportation within destination country or countries, three meals a day, guided tours, workshops, and seminars. Exclusions are airfare to and from the European destination and health and travel insurance.

Urban planners, architects, sustainability enthusiasts, circular economy advocates, and city/regional government officials — this delegation is crafted for you. Fluency in English is a must, and if you speak another local or regional language, that's a plus.
